Fried rice is the best way to use the leftover rice lying around in your fridge. This Chinese-inspired dish is the perfect one-pot meal for hungry cooks in a hurry. Play around with this recipe, it can accommodate the preferences of all taste buds. You can add meats, vegetables, eggs, cheese, or anything else your heart desires! A bowl of well-made fried rice is the quickest way to a comforting meal at the end of a long day.

Ingredients to make Schezwan fried rice:

2 cups leftover rice
½ cup of your preferred mixture of meats and/or vegetables
1 tsp Wingreens All-in-One Spicy Schezwan Spice Mix or to taste
Green onions, sliced.

Steps to make Schezwan fried rice:

1.
Preheat a wok or kadhai with oil.
2.
Saute your protein and/or vegetables of choice with a tablespoon of Wingreens Schezwan Chilli Garlic Sauce until they are tender.
3.
Add the rice and mix well.
4.
Add the remaining Wingreens Schezwan Chilli Garlic Sauce and the Wingreens Spicy Schezwan Mix while stirring constantly.
5.
Turn the heat to low and let your rice get a little brown and crispy at the bottom.
6.
Garnish with green onions, and enjoy!

Tips for the perfect Schezwan fried rice:

If you like your dish spicy, add more sauce. Using a little less sauce will yield a milder flavour.
