Murgh Makhani Skewers Recipe
Prep:20-30 mins
Serving:4-6
Ingredients to make Murgh makhani skewers:
500g boneless chicken breasts or thighs
4-5 tbsp Wingreens Farms Makhani Dip (to taste)
1 onion
1 bell pepper
Optional: lemon juice, coriander
Steps to make Murgh makhani skewers:
1.
Cut the boneless chicken, onion, and bell pepper into roughly 1-inch pieces.
2.
In a mixing bowl, toss the chopped ingredients with a generous amount of Makhani Dip, salt, and pepper until they are well coated. Add more dip to taste!
3.
Marinate the chicken and vegetables for at least 30 minutes or up to an hour.
4.
Thread the chicken onto skewers, adding the vegetables at intervals.
5.
Heat oil in a frying pan or grill pan. When hot, lay your skewers down and let them cook for 10 minutes or until the bottoms are charred and cooked through.
6.
Flip them over and cook for 5 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the chicken is cooked.
7.
Garnish with lemon juice and coriander. Serve the skewers hot with a side of creamy Garlic Dip.
Tips for the perfect Murgh makhani skewers:
You can also make Murgh Makhani skewers in your air-fryer or oven at 350 F or 180 C for 15 minutes, before flipping them over and cooking for 5 minutes or until the chicken is done. We prefer to cook them on an open flame to achieve the perfect char on each side, but they turn out beautifully when air-fried or baked too!
