Ingredients to make Lactose free masala chai:

1 cup Raw Pressery Lactose Free Skimmed Milk
1 cup water
2 tsp black tea
½ inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and smashed
2 cardamom pods (elaichi), 2 black peppercorns, 2 cloves, 1/4 inch piece of cinnamon.
Optional: ¼ tsp fennel seeds (saunf), 1 star anise.

Steps to make Lactose free masala chai:

1.
Add room-temperature water, ginger, and other spices to a saucepan.
2.
Bring to a simmer on medium-high heat to infuse the water with the flavour of the spices.
3.
When simmering, add the tea and let it steep for a minute.
4.
Pour in the Lactose Free Milk and turn up the heat to high. Let the tea boil for 1-2 minutes to extract the most flavour from the spices.
5.
When the mixture is at a rolling boil, remove it from the heat and pour it into mugs using a sieve to catch stray leaves and spices.
