Ingredients to make Chicken à l'orange:

500g Chicken
1 ½ cups mixed vegetables (we recommend broccoli, peppers, zucchini, cauliflower, or sweet potatoes)

1 tsp

1 tsp

1 tsp

1 onion, sliced
3-4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1 tbsp soy sauce

Steps to make Chicken à l'orange:

1.
Prepare the sauce by shaking together Valencia Orange juice, the dried herbs, soy sauce, oil, and salt.
2.
Place the chicken evenly in a large baking sheet or oven dish.
3.
Add the vegetables, onion, and garlic.
4.
Season with salt and pepper.
5.
Pour the sauce into the pan and toss the dish until the ingredients are evenly coated.
6.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes at 190°C until the chicken is tender. Be careful not to overcook the meat or it may become dry and chewy.
7.
Serve hot with buttered rice or roasted potatoes.

Tips for the perfect Chicken à l'orange:

For a fun variation on this recipe, you can marinate chicken pieces in the sauce for 1 hour, then fry them in the air fryer until they become crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
