Prep:20-30 mins
Serving:4-6

Arguably one of the most famous Indian dishes, butter chicken has made its mark both within the country and internationally. We present an easy version of this classic Indian recipe, one that is guaranteed to delight your friends and family. Spice Rack’s all-in-one Makhani Spice Mix is the star of the show, bringing a medley of rich flavours with every spoonful. Healthy eaters, don’t worry! For a low fat version of this recipe, incorporate diced chicken breasts into the dish and replace full-fat cream with skimmed milk. It’s better-for-you, yet loaded with buttery flavour. You can also replace butter with cold-pressed oil. Organik Country’s organic, cold-pressed oils bring the goodness of nature to any dish.

Ingredients to make Tandoori idli:

3 cups idli batter
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
3 tsp Spice Rack All-in-one Smoked Tandoori Spice Mix
Wingreens Mint Mayo

Steps to make Tandoori idlis:

1. Grease the idli mould and pour batter into it. Steam the idlis in a steamer or pressure cooker till they are fluffy (about 10 minutes). If you are using a pressure cooker, add a little water to the cooker and then cover with a lid. Remove the whistle so steam can escape during the cooking process.
2. In the meantime, add the chopped onion to a hot pan with some oil. Cook on medium-high heat until the onions are soft, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the tomatoes, Smoked Tandoori Spice Mix, and a little salt. Cook for another 5-10 minutes until the masala is thick and the tomatoes are cooked through. Add 2 tbsp of water and mix well.
4. Remove the idlis from the steamer and chop them into bite sized pieces. In case you are making mini idlis, feel free to skip this step.
5. Add them to the pan with the masala and mix until each piece is well coated.
6. Serve the idlis with Wingreens Mint Mayo.
